The Hungarian Public Service Media is refusing press claims about the Eurovision Song Contest |

| Budapest, 2019. november 28., csütörtök (OTS) - The Hungarian Public Service Media considers outrageous and unacceptable and as such, is firmly refusing reports having recently appeared in the Hungarian and international press that Hungary will be not attending the Eurovision Song Contest because of the high number of homosexual performers. |
These press statements about one's sexual orientation violate human
dignity, journalism ethics and rule of laws. The professional
decision has been made that instead of attending the Eurovision Song
Contest in 2020, directly the talents of the Hungarian pop music and
their valuable performances will be supported.
We want to lay down that one's sexual orientation is not being
considered at any performance or event. The question now arises why
other media do that?
